Film screening & international symposium sharing the practice-research of guest speakers whose work contributes to contemporary dialogues on (non)human ecologies, labour, trade & material resourses. Convened by Sharples at the Museum of Making & UNESCO World Heritage Site. Featuring: Jumana Manna’s award-winning documentary Wild Relatives (2018) & Laura Wilson’s site-specific performance-for-video Deepening (2020). An introductory welcome address was given by Executive Director of Derby Museum’s Tony Butler. Guest speakers: Dr. Onya McCausland, Rafael Perez Evans, Laura Wilson, Sonia Levy & Ravi Agarwal.
